In Queen Anne's
County, a health department nurse coordinates the Medicaid Personal
Care program. Individuals with Medicaid coverage who need
daily/weekly assistance with bathing, dressing and other aspects of
self care are eligible for a personal care provider. A health
department nurse instructs the provider regarding the care plan and
provides regular monitoring.
