Children and babies
are “Born to Learn.” Queen Anne’s County Health Department believes
that parents are not only their child’s first teacher, but also
their child’s most important teacher. Staff who have received
additional training as parent educators provide home visits to
families. Visits include practical information on medical and
community resources, childhood immunizations, children’s growth and
development, home safety, future life skills, and decision making.
