COMMUNICABLE DISEASE PREVENTION

Staff investigate outbreaks and prevent the spread of disease by:

  • Flu/pneumonia vaccinations

  • Tuberculosis screening

  • Directly-observed tuberculosis therapy

  • Rabies vaccinations

  • Hepatitis B vaccinations

  • Meningococcal vaccinations

  • Sexually transmitted diseases clinic - patients seen by appointment

  • HIV counseling and testing

  • Case management/client advisory services for people with HIV/AIDS
